MUSIC INDUSTRY ANALYSTS ON THE TRENDS TO WATCH IN 2020

Usually at the start of every year, I like to make some prediction on what might happen in the coming year musically. This year, I hate admitting it, but I kind of drew a blank. Stuff I started thinking might happen in 2020 actually came to fruition in 2019 and any time I tried thinking about the coming decade, I found myself focusing more on where we’ve come from in the past decade.

Luckily, others put some thought into it or at least reached out to some music industry analysts and asked them what they’re predicting.

I don’t agree with all of these…but it will be fun to watch and see which ones will come true.
