TRIBUTES have been flooding in from all across the world following the death of Animal, the legendary drummer with rock outfit Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem.

You can find the rest of this article here.

I did not find this funny at all. This comes from Waterford Whispers News and is an attempt to provide a little levity to the gloom we’ve all experienced over the last couple of months when it comes to dying musicians. I appreciate the attempt, but because there is NOTHING in the article indicating that it is intended to be tongue and cheek, there are most likely some people who may take this as FACT. There are still a lot of people who believe Ernie’s long time friend, Bert was hit by a bus. In this case the original rumour was that Ernie was going to get hit by a bus to teach kids about death. (CLICK HERE for more) Both Ernie and Bert are alive and well.

When posts started surfacing on the internet about Scott Weiland, Lemmy, David Bowie and Glenn Frey’s deaths, the first thing I did was check to see if the posts were true. There have been TONS of hoaxes online of celebrities dying and I’ll admit it, as soon as I read this “headline” the first thing I thought was “Oh no…The Muppets wouldn’t kill of Animal…would they?”
